Hello there,

Yes I'd be happy to offer feedback on the product. I was very impressed and it turned out to be quite useful.

My husband and I have learned a fair amount from playing the phrases on "Repeat mode" in the rental car.

Without it I think we'd be lost. English seemed to be a rarity in Slovakia - even in the touristy areas.

Slovakia is fast becoming a tourist hub and it's really no surprise why. It's full to the brim with history, castles, culture - and of course food & wine!

The only problem you'll find with visiting Slovakia is that it's still a relatively new destination, which means even in the centre of Bratislava (the capital city and tourist hub) you'll come across a large percentage of people who won't understand English.

Rather than learn a new language, or fumble through a phrase book, we created a fully-downloadable "Tour Slovakia" language pack, which offers you the option to learn all the phrases you'll need from the comfort of your home, car, or hotel.

Alternatively, we've found many customers simply play the word or phrase on their MP3 players or mobile phones!

Don't worry, all the words & phrases are organised in English so you'll have no trouble finding the phrase for "Can I have the bill, please" or perhaps more importantly, "Can I have another glass of wine"!

Every phrase is played in Slovak twice. First very slowly so you can hear the shape of the words, then at a normal pace with pauses inbetween so you can repeat it comfortably until it sticks.

If you're in a fluster, don't worry. The name of each phrase is also the file name, so you can just show the phrase being played to whoever you're talking to. Much easier than fumbling with a phrasebook!

The entire pack is downloadable right now, through the secure site of Paypal (who also accept all credit cards) for the current seasonal price only $19 US Dollars.

We invite you to download it and try it. We think you'll agree it's worth its weight in gold!
Good news, we've reduced the price for the tourist season!

Right now, it's only $19 USD!

That makes it not only cheaper than a guide book, but much easier to use.

This is a smart investment before visiting Slovakia.

Hi Gavin,

Yes, the tourist language thing turned out to be quite handy as most people we encountered didn't speak English.

I got used to playing the phrases out loud on my phone instead of learning anything (hey I was only holiday!).

I think it's a good idea and I'll keep it incase we go back to Slovakia in the future.
